Weather Window: Winter Seems Ready to Step In

Chilly north winds followed the Susquehanna River at Towanda on Thursday, despite considerable brightness. The sun will be a rare sight over the next week as temperatures drop and rain mixes with snow.

Expect flurries or a cold rain shower almost anytime over the next week as Mother Nature dons her waterproof parka and marches into the Endless Mountains.

Temperatures are expected to range from the teens to 30s, with Sunday and Wednesday looking particularly interesting. The eight-day forecast is below:
