Weather Window: Downhill Slide in Temperatures Predicted

Low clouds hugged the mountain tops in Eaton Township, Wyoming County on Tuesday morning as the first of several batches of showers pulled off to the east. More rain is expected overnight and tomorrow.

After months of above-normal temperatures that has continued into this week, the weather seems poised to slowly drift into the direction that one might expect for the first half of December. There is, in fact, a chance for snow showers this weekend.

Temperatures are expected to range from the 30s to the 40s next week with no major weather events expected. The eight-day forecast is below:

Tuesday night’s low – 45 (showers)

Wednesday 55/40 (rain)

Thursday – 45/32 (cloudy)

Friday – 45/32 (flurries late)

Saturday40/30 (am snow showers)

Sunday40/30 (partly cloudy)

Monday – 42/32 (showers)

Tuesday45/30 (partly cloudy)

Wednesday 45/30 (some sun!)
