The next Ham & Roast Beef Dinner at the South Creek Lions Club dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8. Doors open at 4:30 pm. The menu includes real mashed potatoes, vegetables, baked beans, homemade pies and baked bread. Cost is $10 per person. The South Creek Lions Club is located on Route 14 in Gillett.
At the October Recycling Project, Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 am to noon, the South Creek Lions will also be accepting magazines and cardboard along with the normal recyclables. Please mark the date. No early drop offs.
A Country Style Breakfast will be served on the second Sunday of each month, October through April 2017 from 7 to 10:30 am. The menu includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, toast and sausage gravy, home fries, coffee, and orange juice. Cost is $8 per meal.
The South Creek Lions Club will hold its 19th annual family-style Halloween Party with games, refreshments, tons of fun, donuts, candy, and music. Admission is one non-perishable food item per person, which will be donated to the local food pantry. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Costumes are optional for the children. Parents or Guardian must stay for the fun.
