Rain clouds hugged the mountains southeast of Tunkhannock this afternoon, as seen from the Endless Mountains Visitors Center in Tunkhannock Township (top) and PS Bank in Eaton Township (above). The temperature hovered near a clammy 50 degrees all day, but there brightness ahead. The eight-day forecast for the Endless Mountains is below.

We might see a break from our periodic bouts with rain this weekend, but a shower can not be ruled out.

Lawn owners are looking for some dry time to get back on their soggy,  shaggy lawns, but sun looks to be in short supply over the next week. A slow warm up is indeed underway, thankfully.
