After record warmth in December, the Susquehanna River at Towanda was still too warm to be immediately effected by the frigid air that moved into the Endless Mountains overnight in Monday morning. As temps hung in the teens during the day, howling winds made the air feel like zero degrees or less. After bottoming out in the single digits or lower this evening, milder weather is expected to return by the weekend. The 7-day forecast follows:
Monday – 5 overnight (partly cloudy)
Tuesday – 27/15 (sun)
