Arts Council Announces Contest for Digital Filmmakers

The Bradford County Regional Arts Council (BCRAC) announces the seventh Endless Mountains Digital Film Festival. Filmmakers of all ages are invited to submit short digital films to the arts council by Friday, July 24 at 4 pm. Winning submissions will be screened at the Keystone Theatre in Towanda on Monday, Aug. 10 at 6:30 pm. Monetary prizes will be awarded.

The Endless Mountains Film Festival was created in 2006 to promote and encourage the creative and pioneering spirit of people working in the digital arts. Films will be viewed by a panel of expert judges who will make their decisions based on originality, creativity, and technical skills demonstrated by the filmmaker.

Films will be entered in one of the three categories based on the age and residency of the filmmaker: Youth – ages 15 and under, and General – ages 16 and up, are for the categories for filmmakers who reside within 75 miles of Towanda, PA; and Aspiring – ages 18 and up, a category open to filmmakers residing anywhere in the United States.
