April Showers Do Bring May Flowers…Right?!

The conductor in front of the Weigh Station (top) in Towanda looks upon a swollen Susquehanna River on Tuesday, as intermittent rain and fog set the tone for the day. The same was true at the Marie Antoinette Overlook in Wyalusing Township (above and below) and most of the Endless Mountains, as the warm front that brought us Easter Sunday snow showers drifted back to the south today from New York state. The front is predicted to move through the area on Wednesday, giving us two days of cool, damp weather. Most forecasts hint at a warm and stormy day on Friday, with highs flirting with 70 degrees for the second time this year. Five-Day Forecast below:

Wed 40/35 showers    Thu 45/40 showers    Fri 65/42 t-storm?    Sat 56/32 prt-sun    Sun 67/40 sunny
