United Way and Community Foundation Partner for Workshop

The United Way of Bradford County and Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers hosted a “Fundraising Pitfalls and Legalities” training workshop for nonprofit organizations from around Bradford County and surrounding areas. The United Way of Bradford County and Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) recently hosted a well-attended event at the Keystone Theater in Towanda, at which speakers provided more than 60 attendees with valuable information and insights from a diverse panel of specialists.

Susan Storch, recently retired three-term Bradford County Auditor; Jason Krise, legislative assistant for Rep. Tina Pickett; Mark Gannon, CEO Gannon Associates, Brooks Eldredge–Martin, Director Emeritus of Bradford County Regional
Arts Council; David Jarrett, Sayre Borough Manager; Evan Williams III, Partner, Brann, Williams, Caldwell & Sheetz.

United Way and Community Foundation associates expressed their gratitude to
the
panelists on behalf of all who benefited from the training workshop.
A
dditional workshops scheduled for 2015 will address the the topics of
“s
trategic planning” and “planned giving” and will be held in May and September.
