Iconic Meshoppen Structure to Come Down

Excavators stand at the ready for the dismantling of the three-story structure at the center of Meshoppen that has been home over the past 125 years to the Kennard Hotel, Tyler Hospital and KenMar Furniture. Contractors have been removing windows and fixtures from the inside of over the past few weeks prior to its demolition, which was scheduled to begin on at about noon today (Wednesday.)
