Unseasonably cold weather should yield to milder temperatures by this weekend.

Friday and Saturday look to be rainy, but predictions range from showers to a deluge. The latter would not be good on frozen ground.

The long-term forecast follows:

Tuesday night: /25 flurries

Wednesday: 35/35 cloudy

Thursday: 35/30 cloudy

Friday: 49/40 pm showers

Saturday: 45/32 showers

Sunday: 40/30 partly cloudy

Monday: 40/25 pm snow showers

Tuesday: 32/20 cloudy
