Dietrich Looking for Cookie Bakers

Submitted Article / Photos by Rick Hiduk

Would you like to be a “Cookie Elf” for the Dietrich this year? We sure could use 2 dozen or more of your special homemade cookies for our annual Christmas in Our Hometown “Cookie Walk” to benefit the cultural programs at the theater.

We estimate that we’ll need about 700 dozen cookies to keep from running out the first night. Will you help?

If you can donate your cookies, please reply to with your name, phone number, and how many dozen cookies you will bake.

Please drop your cookies off at the theater on Thursday, Dec. 6 between 6 and 8 pm or Friday, Dec. 7 between 9 am and noon. Bring them in a non-returnable container such as a shirt box or foil pan with wax paper between the layers — no plastic bags — the cookies get crushed.
