Anyone hoping for an Indian Summer – a string of warm days after a frost – this year can keep on wishing. The warm, humid weather that extended summer nearly to the calendar start of autumn was quickly replaced with a gloomy chill and frosty mornings. Some residents of Bradford, Sullivan and Susquehanna counties already saw their first flakes of snow last week, if not a dusting. Much of the same is in the offing over the next week, with the following week looking pretty damp.
The long-term forecast follows:
Saturday: –-/35 showers
Sunday: 42/33 am snow showers
Monday: 50/40 mostly cloudy
Tuesday: 51/35 pm showers
Wednesday: 45/30 some sun
Thursday: 43/29 mostly cloudy
Friday: 47/31 sunny
Saturday: 50/36 partly cloudy
Sunday: 55/45 mostly cloudy
Monday: 50/40 showers
Tuesday: 50/40 showers
Wednesday: 50/40 showers
Thursday: 53/40 showers
Friday: 55/40 showers
