Submitted Article
In continuing our efforts of recovery for Bradford County, many different organizations have responded and are assisting. The Red Cross and the Salvation Army have been distributing clean-up kits, water and conducting damage assessments across the county. There are two primary locations where bottled drinking water, and cleaning kits have been placed. If your well was flooded in the recent event, you can also pick up a free well water test kit at these locations.

Victory Church in Troy

Wysox Fire Hall in Wysox

Once the water test kit is obtained, make sure to follow the included directions. The test should be conducted Sunday night and returned to the Victory Church on Monday between 7 and 9 am or the Wysox Fire Hall on Monday between 11 am and 1 pm. Please refrigerate your water sample until it is delivered to the pick up location.

A Multi-Agency Recovery Center will be open on Saturday, Aug. 18 at the Wysox Fire Hall on Lake Road from 11 am to 4 pm.
