Sultry Days and Nights to Last for Weeks

The hazy sunshine over the Susquehanna River at Victory Park in Oakland Township, Susquehanna County this morning will soon be overridden by clouds, as another batch of showers and thunderstorms threatens the area.

Thunderstorms are possible again today but more likely tomorrow, as the humid air mass that has cloaked the region continues to hang on. Most of the weekend looks rain free, but heat indexes will be in the 90s on Sunday and Monday.

The eight day forecast follows:

Thursday: 78/68 pm storms

Friday: 78/65 thunderstorms

Saturday: 85/65 partly cloudy

Sunday: 88/65 mostly sunny

Monday: 89/70 partly cloudy

Tuesday: 82/65 scattered storms

Wednesday: 80/62 scattered storms

Thursday: 80/64 scattered storms

Friday: 80/60 scattered storms
