Pond Management Workshop Slated at Camp Brulé

The Penn State Extension will host a Pond & Lake Management Workshop at Camp Brulé, located at 2559 North Street, Forksville on Friday, May 11, at 5:00 p.m. Join Peter Wolfhurst, Penn State Extension Educator for presentations on timely pond and lake issues in Northeast PA. Homeowners and commercial property managers will find value in this program.

Ponds and lakes are a common feature of the landscape of Northeastern Pennsylvania and provide a source of enjoyment for many landowners. Although they occur naturally in this area, many have been constructed for a variety of purposes. Regardless of its intended use, the management of a pond or lake can be complex and sometimes difficult. Pond and Lake Management will address managing nuisance plants and algae in your lake.

Registration is as simple as going on-line at https://extension.psu.edu/pond-and-lake-management-workshop or calling 877-345-069. Cost per person is $20. A light meal will be provided.
